Set your lawnmower blades to a higher setting so you only trim the top third of the grass.
Mow when the lawn is dry to prevent tearing the leaf blades.
Leave the clippings on the lawn if they are light, or rake them up if they form thick clumps.
Water deeply once a week if the weather is dry, rather than giving short daily sprinkles.

Researchers found that lightweight fabric covers significantly boost strawberry yields by trapping warm air around the plants. The added warmth helps crops reach each growing stage faster and produce far more fruit. Gardeners can use simple plant covers to improve crop production during cooler weather.
